The grade REPSOL ISPLEN PP089Y1E is a phthalate free high melt flow rate polypropylene homopolymer with narrow molecular weight distribution which provides optimum processing in fiber lines of high speed and large production capacity (BCF/CF and spunbond). It includes a specific formulation resistant to “gas fading” coloration, suitable for protecting the polymer during extrusion process and final use. Applications - Indicated for the extrusion of staple fibre and BCF/CF in lines of high speed. - Specially recommended for hygienic nonwovens in spunbond lines of the latest generation. Recommended melt temperature range from 190 to 250ºC. Processing conditions should be optimized for each production line.
ISPLEN® PP094N2M Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN PP094N2M is a phthalate free polypropylene homopolymer of very high fluidity, intended forinjection moulding. It is a nucleated grade and is characterised by good flow properties that facilitates an easy mould filling and short cycle times. Due to the specific crystalline structure, at the same time, it exhibits high stiffness and low warpage. Articles manufactured with this grade have excellent chemical resistance, are easily decorated and can accept different colouring systems. Applications REPSOL ISPLEN PP094N2M is widely used for the production of consumer goods such us: • Food containers. • Rigid packaging with very thin walls. • Toys and small appliances. • Garden and domestic furniture. ISPLEN® PP099X2M Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN PP099X2M is a phthalate free very high fluidity homopolymer polypropylene. It is designed for special optical requirements for injection moulding applications, achieving similar optical properties to a PP random. Due to its structure and additive package, ISPLEN PP099X2M offers good transparency, excellent gloss and high stiffness. In addition, the grade shows very low warpage and its excellent processability allows an easy filling of moulds and short cycle times. Applications • Rigid packaging with very thin walls. • Transparent parts • Screw caps and closures. Recommended melt temperature range from 230 to 250ºC. ISPLEN® PR210G4E Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN PR210G4E is a random ethylene-propylene copolymer with a high molecular weight. It contains a basic antioxidant stabilization for the pipe extrusion that guarantees the stability of the polymer under normal processing. The additives used are compatible with any others that the customer might wish to add. REPSOL ISPLEN PR210G4E is supplied in natural color. Applications ? Base polymer for cold and hot water pressure pipes. Recommended melt temperature range from 205-225ºC. Processing conditions should be optimized for each production line .
ISPLEN® PR210X6E Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN PR210X6E is a random ethylene-propylene copolymer with a high molecular weight. It contains a specific formulation for high thermal stability and water extraction purposes. REPSOL ISPLEN PR210X6E is supplied in natural color. Applications - Cold and hot water pressure pipe. Recommended melt temperature range from 205-225ºC. Processing conditions should be optimised for each production line.
ISPLEN® PR230C1E Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN PR230C1E is a phthalate free propylene-ethylene random copolymer with medium-low melt flow rate. It offers good transparency, high gloss and excellent surface finish. It is formulated with additives to reinforce the thermal stability during product processing and end use. REPSOL ISPLEN PR230C1E can be easily coloured during the extrusion process using the right pigments, preferably in the form of concentrates with a higher melt flow rate than that of the base polymer. Applications • Blow-moulding extrusion. Specially recommended for detergents and cosmetics due to its high ESCR • Sheet Extrusion • Thermoforming Recommended melt temperature range between 190 and 250ºC. The grade REPSOL ISPLEN PR230W1F is a phthalate free polypropylene random propylene-ethylene random copolymer with medium-low melt flow rate, which has been especially designed for sheet and film extrusion. This grade does not contain technical additives, it is calcium stearate free and suitable for metallization. This grade does not contain technical additives, it is calcium stearate free and suitable for metallization. REPSOL ISPLEN PR255W1F is also used as part of stretch film formulations. REPSOL ISPLEN PR290X9M is a phthalate free polypropylene random copolymer with a high fluidity, intended for injection moulding. In addition to good transparency, it also shows superior impact properties compared to standard random copolymers, especially at low temperatures. At 0ºC, impact strength is similar to heterophasic copolymers of the same fluidity. Due to its excellent processability, it is particularly suitable for injection moulding applications used in the manufacture of very thin walled articles. It includes a package of additives that allows dispersion of static charges accumulated on the surface, preventing the formation of dust deposits and making it easier to extract the pieces from the mould. Applications REPSOL ISPLEN PR290X9M has been specifically designed for the manufacture of very thin-walled articles with high mechanical properties at low temperatures, high dimensional stability and excellent clarity: - Home containers for cold storage (‘from the freezer to the microwave’). - Boxes, crates, pails and containers for home and professional storage. - Very thin-walled containers for chilled storage: ice cream, dairy products, vegetables... It is characterised by its high transparency, improved organoleptic properties and very low blooming. Due to the good balance of mechanical properties, thin wall articles with high dimensional stability can be manufactured. It is clarified and contains antistatic additives that reduce the presence of dust during storage. These additives also facilitate article release from the mould. ISPLEN® RC590S2M Europa
REPSOL ISPLEN RC590S2M is a phthalate free polypropylene random copolymer that belongs to a range of highly transparent family specially designed to satisfy the more exigent necessities of the market. - It allows reducing the cycle time, due to its higher crystallization temperature. - By its higher stiffness, it increases the mechanical properties of the articles manufactured. Higher dimensional stability. - Due to the improved optical properties, it is possible to produce articles of higher thickness, maintaining a very good aesthetic result. The haze of this product in a 2 mm plate is equivalent to the haze of a standard random copolymer in a 1mm plate.
