The resin can be processed at lower RPM in the extruder and shorter cycle times to minimize the AA regeneration in injection molding. It offers a very low residual acetaldehyde content to help minimize impact on aroma and flavor. Suitable for still/flat water.

RAMAPET P184 is a slow crystallizing and non-reheat PET resin for thick walled applications that require optimal transparency, like refillable bottles, cosmetic bottles and jars and preforms for big containers like 5 Gallon. RAMAPET P184 has an IV of 0.84, has good optical properties and the mechanical properties are representative for a PET resin with IV of 0.84. RAMAPET R1 is a high intrinsic visosity food grade PET copolymer specially designed for the CSD container market. It offers enhanced reheat ability that improves machine efficiency during blow molding.

RAMAPET R180 is a general purpose polymer with "clear reheat" for the European market. Typical applications include carbonated soft drinks (CSD), carbonated and still water, household products, pharmaceutical, and general purpose containers. The product is also suitable for film & sheet applications. RAMAPET R180 contains a moderate level of a "clear" reheat additive which does not compromise the bottle appearance. The formulation gives a better reheat consistency than PET without reheat, allowing the blowing of more complicated shapes and an efficient blowing of the latest, light-weighted preform/bottle designs. The use of reheat additive provides significant energy saving up to 30% when reheating preforms.
