OCTAL PET resin is produced using the latest state-of-the-art 2R direct high I.V. technology. This advanced technology ensures that the properties and quality of PET resin are superior with low crystallinity and low AA generation, making it the preferred choice for a number of applications. OCTAL GP 02 is suitable for a variety of applications including carbonated soft drinks, alcoholic beverages, and edible oils containers. The resin is designed and engineered to provide high dimensional strength and mechanical properties. The low crystallinity and heat of fusion of the resin, provides unique advantages of low residual acetaldehyde generation in injection molding and also lower energy for conversion into bottles. Polyclear® Plus PET 1111 from Indorama Ventures Polymers México, S. de R.L. de C.V. ("IVPM"), is a copolymer packaging resin with a nominal intrinsic viscosity of 0.84 dl/g. Packaging made from Polyclear® Puls PET 1111 provides excellent clarity, strength, and processing performance in maximum throughput, injection-stretch blow PET container applications. Polyclear® Plus PET 1111 is designed for fast injection cycle times and maximum blowing throughputs. In addition, preforms made from Polyclear® Plus PET 1111 exhibit low acetaldehyde levels while retaining high IV. Bottles made from Polyclear® Plus PET 1111 have excellent thermal stability characteristics and are durable under attack by caustic agents.
