HE9621PH3 is a resin intended for evaluation for use in Healthcare applications.
HE9621PH3 is a high density polyethylene with narrow molecular weight distribution typically used in injection moulding of articles requiring medium flow with high rigidity. This grade is designed for articles which require high stiffness and low warpage. Material can be sterilised with ethylene oxide, steam and radiation up to 35 kGy; as a result of sterilisation by radiation some minor yellowing can occur.

This grade may only be used for the applications listed in the Product Datasheet and only to the extent that the application is within the scope of the tests set out in the Statement on Compliance to Regulations on Medical Use for that grade. If an application is not listed in the Product Datasheet, the grade can be used for such application only after express written consent of the Borealis Marketing Manager, Healthcare.
Borealis prohibits the use of any healthcare grade product in an implantable device that is introduced into the human body by surgical intervention and that is intended to remain in place following surgical procedure.

LE0563 is a thermoplastic semiconductive compound specifically designed for medium- high and extra-high voltage cable systems requiring improved grounding. It may be used either as a complete jacket or as a thin layer extruded on top of the regular jacket. This compounds permits easy diagnostic testing of the cable to ensure jacket conformity, allowing confirmation of fault-free cable before and after installation. It provides excellent mechanical properties, superior environmental stress crack resistance and good electrical conductivity. Due to the semiconductive properties, it will also provide added protection against lightning.

Borealis PE LE0865 | 北美洲 |
LE0865 is a natural, modified polyethylene compound. Shutting down extruders can be facilitated by means of a special compound. LE0865 is a compound specially formulated to simplify the work with keeping the extruder, head and die clean during shut down.
The compound does not stick hard to metal surfaces and is therefore easy to remove by purging or mechanically with e.g. a brass tool.
The excellent heat stabilisation of the compound may also allow for prolonged stop times at elevated temperatures. The heat stability of the compound will prevent premature thermo oxidative degradation that can result in oxidised particles that may be formed during extruder stand still.
The compound has been demonstrated effective in allowing weekend shut down of film extrusion lines without dismantling for cleaning. It has also been found effective to aid dismantling of HV extruders and crossheads which are subjected to relatively low temperature extrusion processes. However, LE0865 is normally not effective for cleaning of extruders where high process temperatures result in degraded material being accumulated during normal operation. In these cases the use of a properly formulated cleaning compound followed by dismantling and mechanical cleaning is recommended.
