PEXIDAN® SX505
Silane crosslinkable EPR compound for low and medium voltage power cable insulation
SX505 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM493 or CM497, in the ratio 95:5. The SX505:CM493 or SX505:CM497 systems have passed type-tests for use up to and including 33 kV. This compound is typically used in conjunction with crosslinkable semi-conducting material for conductor and insulation shields. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.
