Pearlbond™ 106 | África & Oriente Médio |
Pearlbond™ 106 is a linear, aromatic polyurethane, supplied in form of small white or slightly yellowish granules, which combines a high crystallisation rate with a very high thermoplasticity level. It is used for Hot Melt adhesives.
APPLICATIONS
Pearlbond™ 106 is mainly used for making heat-sealable fabrics (thermobonding), obtained by coating processes such as scattering or dot-coating (powder or paste). In all cases, the product is previously ground into powder, by cryogenic grinding. The particle size of the powder will depend on the application technique to be used.

Pearlbond™ 1160L | África & Oriente Médio |
Type: Pearlbond™ 1160L is a linear, aromatic polyurethane, supplied in form of white or slightly yellowish pellets, which combines a high crystallization rate and a high thermoplasticity level.
Uses: Powder, film
APPLICATIONS
Pearlbond™ 1160L is used for obtaining PU films by extrusion (blow and cast) for solvent-free adhesion, by heat-seal process.
Once activated, the films provide bonds with high initial values, and which have good heat resistance. The adhesion to PVC, rubber and polyurethane materials, as well as to a variety of fabrics, is excellent.

Pearlbond™ ECO 590 | África & Oriente Médio |
Pearlbond™ ECO 590 is a linear, aromatic bio-polyurethane based on specialty polyol from renewable sources, supplied in form of white spherical granules, with an extremely high crystallization rate and a very high thermoplasticity level. It contains 67% of renewable material as certified according to ASTM-D6866.
APPLICATIONS
Pearlbond™ ECO 590 can be added to formulations of REACTIVE POLYURETHANE HOT-MELTS (HMPUR), in order to improve the crystallisation speed.

Pearlcoat™ Activa D198K | África & Oriente Médio |
PEARLCOAT® Activa D198K is an aliphatic based thermoplastic polyurethane of low hardness, supplied in the form of natural pellets. This product gives an inherent "low gloss aspect" on the final product surface after extrusion processing. Featuring low gel content as well as low temperature flexibility, it is ideally suited for extrusion or co-extrusion onto polar substrates.
|
Pearlthane™ MB-9005 | África & Oriente Médio |
PEARLTHANE® MB-9005 is a TPU-based colour masterbatch, supplied in the form of homogeneously black coloured pellets. It is specially intended for colouring TPUs (either polyester or polyether-based), for extrusion, injection moulding or calendering processes.
PEARLTHANE® MB-9005 can be mixed with any items of our PEARLTHANE® or PEARLCOAT® lines (either polyester or polyether-based) intended for applications obtained by extrusion, injection moulding or calendering.
A 2 % usage level (on TPU, by weight) is recommended. Higher levels can be considered, depending on the requirements of the end-product.

POLYCASA® TPU | África & Oriente Médio |
Polycasa TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) is a brand name for TPU extruded sheets produced by Polycasa.
The sheet can be delivered in flat sheets, palletised, or alternatively in rolls, as per customers requirements. This product offers superior abrasion resistance, tear resistance and other advanced mechanical properties.
CHARACTERISTICS
- Extreme resistance to wear and tear.
- Reduction of noise.
- Repair/replacement indicator layer: (After wearing out, the black abrasion layer reveals a red indicator layer, signalling it should be repaired or replaced. This is key to preventative maintenance and allows for better production planning by avoiding unforeseen downtime, resulting in increased productivity.)
APPLICATIONS
- Conveyor belt armouring.
- Wear liners for: chutes, truck liners, cyclones, magnetic separators, cones and rotary mills.
Polycasa TPU can be installed either by mechanical fastening or by using polyurethane glue on metal, wooden or concrete surfaces.
Once bonded to a metal surface, maintenance of TPU is very simple. The damaged surface is ground out, cleaned and the new TPU patch can be bonded into the damaged area. Repair work takes less than an hour to complete and can be carried out in the absence of a clean environment. Therefore, repairs can be done underground, for example in the mine. This means machinery does not have to be brought to the surface, reducing maintenance and repair time.
Polycasa TPU is 100% recyclable, therefore all side cuts can be reused.

Tepex® dynalite 108-FG290(x)/45%Filament Glass - TPU consolidated composite laminate
The datasheet is valid for this specific composition only, the characteristics of composites depend on reinforcement level and fiber orientation. Non-standard thickness may alter some or all of these properties. The data listed here are given as average product properties and should not be used to establish specification limits nor used alone as basis of design. The underlying tests were conducted at room temperature and (where possible) with 2 mm specimen thickness. For tensile and flexural tests a specimen width of 25 mm was used and is highly recommended to achieve representative results.

THERPUS F Series | América do Norte |
THERPUS F Series is a polyurethane powder developed by Sanyo Chemical Industries using original technology for slush molding. The product has a sharp particle size distribution that enables it to have good meltability and excellent formability properties.
2. Typical Applications:
- Molding skins for automotive interior parts such as door panels, instrument panels and center consoles.
3. Product Features:
- The excellent molding characteristics of THERPUS F permit greater design flexibility for automotive interior parts due to excellent powder flow and melting properties.
- The skin of THERPUS F shows "excellent soft feel" and "good heat and UV aging properties".
- The low melt viscosities of THERPUS F permit mold temperature reduction of 20-40 C compared with PVC. Thus, it can reduce the energy required and increase production capacity.
- The skin of THERPUS F can make a contribution to "automotive weight reduction" and "cost reduction of slush molding material".
