Low viscosity, for compounding A very easy flowing unfilled grade. This grade demonstrates excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. Intended for extrusion applications that do not require high melt strength and for compounding with various fillers. Available as Fortron 0203B6 (granular powder), and 0203P6 (pellets)

Medium-range viscosity, for compounding 0205 is an easy flowing unfilled grade. It demonstrates excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability. Intended for compounding with various fillers. Available standard in pellet (0205P4) and powder 'flake' (0205B4) form.

Specialty Based on the adjusted particle size distribution, Fortron 0205B4/20µm is suitable for coating processes. Chemical and physical properties (exception is the particle size distribution) are the same like for Fortron 0205B4.

High viscosity, for extrusion 0214 is an unfilled grade exhibiting good melt strength. This grade demonstrates excellent heat and chemical resistance. It can be extruded to produce multi-filaments. Due to the excellent balance of flow and melt strength, this product is occasionally used for injection molding parts. Available standard in powder (0214B1), pellet (0214P1) and crystallized pellet (0214C1) form.

Unfilled 0309 exhibits a good balance of flow and melt strength for extrusion processes. The material demonstrates excellent heat and chemical resistance. The intended use of this product is for extruding monofilament/fibers. Available in powder (0309B4) and high melv viscoity (0309B4 HMV) forms.

High melt viscosity, for extrusion 0320 exhibits a high melt strength for extrusion processes. The material demonstrates excellent heat and chemical resistance. The intended use of this product is for extruding monofilament/fibers, rod and slab. Available standard in powder 'flake' (0320B0), ground powder (0320B0/100 µm), pellet (0320P0) and crystallized pellet (0320C0) form.

Fiberglass reinforced with high melt strength for blow molding & extrusion applications Fortron® 1115L0 is a 15% fiberglass-reinforced grade of polyphenylene sulfide with high melt strength suitable for blow molding and extrusion applications. The recommended processing conditions are similar to those of our standard grades, except drying conditions are somewhat milder at 80 to 100 C for 3-4 hours.

Fortron 1120L4 is a 20% glass fiber reinforced injection molding grade. Fortron 1120L4 is a 20% glass fiber reinforced injection molding grade exhibiting excellent heat and chemical resistance, inherent flame retardancy, high hardness and stiffness at elevated temperatures.

30% Glass reinforced, excellent flow, good weldability, V-0 Fortron 1130L4 is a 30% glass-reinforced PPS that has excellent heat and chemical resistance. It is inherently flame-retardant and exhibits high hardness and a good balance of strength and stiffness. Especially used for thin walled parts requiring long flow lengths. This grade also exhibits excellent weldability in secondary operations due to its low filler content.

Fortron® 1130T4 is a 30% glass filled, impact modified grade for injection molding with excellent thermal shock resistance.

30% Glass reinforced PPS, low flash, good weldability, V-0

30% glass filled

40% Glass reinforced extrusion grade, strong and tough, V-0 Fortron 1140L0 is a 40% glass-reinforced extrusion grade. It exhibits excellent heat and chemical resistance, good electrical properties and is inherently flame-retardant. The high hardness and rigidity at elevated temperatures allows for good load bearing performance. This product has good weldability due to the modest filler level. 1140L0 is used to produce rods and slabs.

40% Glass reinforced, strong and tough, V-0 Fortron 1140L4 DW is a 40% glass-reinforced grade that is the strongest and toughest product available. It has been developed for use in drinking water applications. It exhibits excellent heat and chemical resistance, good electrical properties and is inherently flame-retardant. The high hardness and rigidity at elevated temperatures allows for good load bearing performance. This product has good weldability due to the modest filler level. Applications made of this grade are electronical components (i.e. bobbins, lamp housings, brush holders) and various other components requiring strength and resistance to aggressive chemicals (i.e. automotive heaters, pumps, valves, fuel rails, microwave oven rings and distillation column packings).

Especially used for thin walled parts with long flow lengths. Applications made of this grade include components for pumps and electronics.

40% Glass reinforced, easy flow, strong and tough, V-0 Fortron 1140L6 is an easier flow version of Fortron 1140L4. It offers essentially the same characteristics of 1140L4. Especially used for thin walled parts with long flow lengths. Applications made of this grade include components for pumps and electronics.

Fortron® 1140T4 is a 40% glass filled; impact modified grade for injection molding with good thermal shock resistance.

40% Glass reinforced PPS, low flash, V-0 Fortron 1141L4 is a 40% glass-reinforced PPS that has excellent heat and chemical resistance, inherently flame-retardant, high hardness and a good balance of strength and stiffness. This grade exhibits low flash and is typically used in applications with thicker walls and shorter flow lengths.

Unfilled extrusion grade that has a high melt viscosity and tensile elongation. Fortron 1200L1 is an unfilled grade recommended primarily for extrusion applications. It has a high melt viscosity and tensile elongation. Recommended processing conditions are similar to those of our standard unfilled PPS grades.

40% Glass reinforced with PTFE, low wear Fortron 1342L4 is a low wear glass filled grade, ideally suited for bearings, gears and other sliding friction/wear applications.

53% Mineral/Glass reinforced, high strength, V-0 Fortron 4184L4 is the strongest and toughest glass/mineral reinforced product available. It offers excellent heat resistance at high loads and good chemical resistance. The electrical properties are excellent and the product is inherently flame-retardant. This product also offers low creep resistance and good rigidity due to the mineral content. Applications made of this grade include electronic components (i.e. bobbins, connectors and solenoid valves).

53% Mineral/Glass reinforced, high strength, easy flow, V-0 Fortron 4184L6 is an easier flow version of Fortron 4184L4. for drinking water applications. It offers similar characteristics to the 4184L4. This grade is especially used for thin walled parts requiring long flow lengths, stiffness and dimensional control. Applications made of this grade are typically electronic components.

53% Mineral/Glass reinforced, high strength, easy flow, V-0 Fortron 4184L6 is an easier flow version of Fortron 4184L4. It offers similar characteristics to the 4184L4. This grade is especially used for thin walled parts requiring long flow lengths, stiffness and dimensional control. Applications made of this grade are typically electronic components.

Fortron 4332L6 is a glass fiber/mineral filled injection molding grade material. Fortron 4332L6 is a glass fiber/mineral filled injection molding grade, which is intended for applications requiring improved tensile and flexural properties, when compared to other GF/MIN reinforced PPS grades. The recommended processing parameters are similar to the standard grades.

65% Mineral/Glass, high CTI, low warpage, good electrical properties Fortron 4665B6 offers a high Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) for application requiring resistance to high voltage. The product exhibits good heat and chemical resistance as well as good electrical properties. This grade is also inherently flame-retardant. Due to the balance of mineral and glass fibers the warpage is very low. Applications include electronic components (i.e. lamp sockets, housings and position frames).

Fortron 6150T4 is a 50% glass-fiber reinforced and mineral-filled grade with improved impact and thermal shock resistance.

60% Mineral/Glass reinforced PPS for electrical applications to reduce contact corrosion. Fortron 6160B4 has excellent heat and chemical resistance as well as good electrical properties. This product is inherently flame-retardant and offers high hardness and rigidity. 6160B4 has demonstrated excellent performance in hot runner systems and superior contact corrosion resistance. Applications include electronic components (i.e. molded in lead frames, contacts or pins).

Mineral/glass reinforced grade for applications requiring the highest flow Fortron 6162A7 is a mineral/glass reinforced grade for applications requiring the highest flow.

65% Mineral/Glass reinforced, V-0 Fortron 6165A4 offers a unique balance of properties based on a high mineral and glass reinforced composition. The heat resistance under load bearing conditions is excellent for this product. As with all Fortron grades this product is inherently flame-retardant. Applications include electronic components (i.e. lamp houses, connection parts and sockets) and components in industry (i.e. pumps and pistons).

65% Mineral/Glass reinforced, easy flow, V-0 Fortron 6165A6 is an easier flow version of Fortron 6165A4. It offers similar characteristics to the 6165A4. Applications include electronic components (i.e. lamps housings and sockets) and mechanical components (i.e. pumps and pistons).

Specialty Fortron 6341L4 is a tribological-modified Fortron®-PPS containing 40% glass fibre. Fortron 6341L4 comprises the same mechanical properties like Fortron 1342L4, but with a different tribological adjustment.

Low Wear and Coefficient of Friction; variant of 1342L4 Fortron 6345L4 is 30% glass fiber/high PTFE reinforced injection molding grade. This grade, available in natural color, exhibits improved wear and sliding properties versus 1342L4 product.

Low wear and lowest coefficient of friction Fortron 6450A6 is a fiberglass reinforced, mineral filled alloy that exhibits improved wear and sliding properties versus standard Fortron compounds.

50% Mineral/Glass reinforced, low warpage, good surface, V-0 Fortron 6850L6 offers the lowest warpage available. The easy flowing nature allows this product to be injection molded into thin walled applications. The excellent balance of mineral and glass fibers result in a superior heat resistance and dimensional stability. This grade is inherently flame-retardant along with high hardness and rigidity. Especially used for thin walled by unfavorable flow length-wall thickness ratio. This is the most isotropic grade available.

Fiberglass reinforced with high melt strength for blow molding & extrusion applications Fortron® 9115L0 is a 15% fiberglass-reinforced grade of polyphenylene sulfide with high melt strength suitable for blow molding and extrusion applications.
