REPSOL RECICLEX® CBIOPB196 is a bio-based polyolefin derived from the use of alternative raw materials coming from renewable and sustainable plastic waste as well as from the biodegradable fraction coming from industrial and municipal waste. It is certified by a mass balance methodology according to the requirements of the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC PLUS).
REPSOL RECICLEX® CBIOPB196 is a phthalate free very high fluidity heterophasic copolymer, intended for injection moulding applications. It shows a very high stiffness and excellent impact properties in a grade with a very high melt flow index value. In addition, it shows a good shrinkage performance which avoids warpage problems.
It is a nucleated grade and also contains a special antistatic formulation which provides good long-term aesthetic appearance and easy demoulding, allowing to achieve faster cycle times.
Applications
The particular characteristics of REPSOL ISPLEN PB196K1M provide a grade with excellent balance of mechanical properties with very high stiffness and excellent impact properties, as well as a good dimensional stability. It is widely used in:

REPSOL RECICLEX® CIRCPB150 is a phthalate free medium fluidity heterophasic copolymer, characterised by its good balance of properties: excellent impact strength, even at low temperatures, good stiffness and easy processability. Due to its excellent flow properties is very suitable to fill complex or large moulds with long flow paths.

REPSOL RECICLEX® CIRCPB183 is a phthalate free nucleated and antistatic heterophasic copolymer. It is characterised by its excellent flow properties and good balance of mechanical properties: very high impact strength, even at low temperatures, and high stiffness. It is particularly intended for injection moulding applications used in the manufacture of thin wall articles. Also, the material has a very low tendency to warp and it is used in goods where dimensional stability is important.

It is particularly suitable for injection moulding applications used in the manufacture of very thin walled articles where exceptional organoleptic properties are highly demanded.
Articles made with it, exhibit a low tendency to warp, ultra light flow and high dimensional stability. Antistatic additive package also facilitates material processing and makes the articles extraction from the mould easier reaching shorter cycle times.

RECICLEX® RX591V is formulated by Repsol to enable the use of recycling in technical applications through a better compatibility of materials.
The estimated carbon footprint* of the grade RECICLEX® RX591V is 1,15 kgCO2/kg (medium value of PP in Europe according to Plastic Europe Ecoprofiles is 1,63 kgCO2/kg). Therefore, the carbon footprint reduction of the compound RECICLEX® RX591V is around 260 kg CO2/ton PP.

This product is UV stabilized and available in different colours.
