Europrene® SOL R C2525 BCA is a solution polymerized, dry styrene-butadiene random copolymer and contains a non-staining antioxidant.

Key Features
Europrene ® SOL R C2525 BCA is a possible replacement for Europrene SBR (ESBR) dry grades; thanks to its controlled
micro- and macrostructure it exhibits better dimensional stability and compression set behaviour in compounds. It is suitable for applications where absence of blooming is requested.
Its low Tg makes it suitable for low RR, winter and all season tyre tread application.

Main Applications
Low rolling resistance and improved grip tyre treads compounds; high quality technical rubber goods and footwear applications. It is suitable for the manufacturing of items intended to come into contact with foodstuffs, complying by composition with the prescription set by regulations currently in force in Germany (BfR empf. XXI), USA (FDA US-CFR 21. section 177.2600) and European Union (Commission Regulation n.10/2011).

Sustainability
Bio raw materials can be used in production processes together with traditional raw materials. In order to attribute sustainability characteristics to the final product, Versalis applies the Mass Balance approach, an acknowledged methodology that ensures that the sustainability characteristics of the alternative raw material, mixed with traditional naphtha, correspond to those of the final product. BCA products are provided with a sustainability declaration indicating the amount of Bio-Circular Attributed component. They guarantee identical performance, quality and properties, as they do not differ in chemical composition and physical-mechanical performance from standard products.
