NUCREL™ AE is a terpolymer of ethylene, methacrylic acid, and acrylate. It is available for use in conventional extrusion coating, coextrusion coating and extrusion laminating equipment designed to process polyethylene resins. It can be used as a modifier for PE in blends of approximately 20 to 40% NUCREL™ AE with 80 to 60% LDPE for enhancement of foil adhesion properties. The level of adhesion improvement depends on processing conditions. Uses - Adhesives; Packaging; Sealants Composition - Proprietary Features - Improved foil adhesion when processed under the correct conditions. - Increased peak hot tack strength. NUCREL™ AN4211-5C resins are acid modified ethylene acrylate resins. They contain a temperature stable ester which makes them functional in high temperature coextrusions. They are available in pellet form for use in conventional extrusion and coextrusion equipment designed to process polyethylene (PE) resins. Features - Better adhesion to aluminum metallized films, such as VM-CPP, without delamination between metallized aluminum and CPP - Excellent processibility at lower temperature, such as 200-220°C Characteristics/Benefits - NUCREL™ AN4211-5C is designed to have good adhesion to metallized CPP in extrusion coating operation without delamination between metallized aluminum and CPP. Typical adhesions to VM-CPP are shown below. Customer should conduct their own adhesion comparison to ensure these materials meet their performance. Applications - NUCREL™ AN4211-5C series resins adhere to a wide variety of materials. They are most often used to adhere to PE, EVA, Polyamide, ionomer, paper, aluminum foil, and printed films. - NUCREL™ AN4211-5C is designed for low melt temperature extrusion or coextrusion coating/laminating applications. - Common usage in Snack applications, as a OPP/VM-CPP tie layer.

VERSIFY™ 3300 Elastomer can be used for stretch cling, elastic film and as a blend component in thermoplastic elastomers and thermoplastic olefins. It is a particularly good choice for cast stretch film sealants. When used as cling additive the grade generates higher unstretched film cling levels and can be used in blends at lower addition levels than needed with VLDPE. It gives consistent performance in hot and cold conditions, retains its characteristics over extended periods and delivers lower noise levels.
