EX-2018 is a co-polymer of ethylene and propylene. It is designed for use in peroxide cured rubber products, sealants and adhesives, wire and cable, and TPO blends. EX-2018 imparts low temperature flexibility, reduces stress whitening and improves impact resistance. EX-2018 is easily colored and is compatible with most PE/PP color concentrates.

Amorphous ethylene-propylene rubber with a low ENB (ethylidene norbornene) content and a low Mooney viscosity. The polymer has a low level of ENB, which results in cure characteristics compatible with butyl rubber. Advantages of EPDM-Butyl blends (compared to 100% butyl) are improved heat- and ozone resistance, lower raw material costs and lower compound costs through increased addition levels of filler and oil. Typical application areas for the product are inner tubes (blend with butyl rubber) and geo membranes (blend with butyl rubber).

Trilene ® CP-2000 is an intermediate low molecular weight ethylene-propylene liquid copolymer, randomly polymerized to produce a liquid elastomer with a stable, saturated hydrocarbon backbone. It has thermal and oxidation stability under normal conditions. Trilene ® CP-2000 can be used as a viscosity thickener for a wide range of lubricant products providing good shear stability and low temperature characteristics.
