RapidPurge MP900 & MP1000 Series is a general purpose, mechanical thermoplastic purging compound providing quick cleaning, scrubbing, and polishing of metal surfaces in Injection molding, Extrusion and Blow Molding equipment. Designed for quick color or material change-over.

The mechanical agents of the purge formula offer scrubbing and soft polishing of the machines base metal. MP1000 family contains heat activated foaming additives to expand the purge into negative flow areas. MP900 family is non-foaming, comprised of FDA/GRAS ingredients.

Features & Benefits
  • High performance mechanical formulation - designed for quick color or material change-over. Non-abrasive mechanical additives enhance scrubbing and soft polishing of machinery's base metal.
  • Equipment - Can be used in all plastic processing equipment; Hot Runner safe; can go through downstream equipment out to open die; RapidPurge is inert to metal.
  • Pre-mix - "Ready to Use" pre-mixed grades can be used right from the container - No mixing necessary.
  • Pellet Form - Easy feed and handling; can be hopper loaded. Shelf life indefinite.
  • No temperature changes- Can run through the machines at operating temperatures.
  • No machine speed adjustments- Run through machines with screw at normal RPMs.
  • Heat -activated foaming additives - Expand the purge into negative flow areas. (MP1000 Series only)
