DHDA-7700 BK is a specially formulated thermoplastic compound designed for use as a semiconductive shield in medium voltage cable applications. DHDA-7700 BK was specifically developed utilizing a special acetylene carbon black to provide a supersmooth surface to achieve best in class performance and yielding a more perfect interface between the extruded shield and the insulation.
DHDA-7700 BK is also useful for start-up, shut down, transition, and purging of medium and high voltage (5 kV and higher) power cable semiconductive shield extruders. DHDA-7700 BK is compatible with the DOW ENDURANCE™ HFDA-0800 BK and HFDA-0801 BK supersmooth semiconductive shields and has a high degree of cleanliness required for these applications.

UNIGARD™ HP DGDD-1430 Natural es un compuesto termoplástico aislante retardante de flama desarrollado para utilizarlo en cables de comunicaciones. Ofrece un buen equilibrio de propiedades altamente retardantes de flama, excelentes propiedades físicas y eléctricas y buena capacidad de procesamiento.
DGDD-1430 Natural se utiliza en una gran variedad de aplicaciones, como en aislamientos para cable coaxial y de sección delgada para aplicaciones de Código Eléctrico Nacional de Estados Unidos, artículos 725 y 800. Con determinados diseños de cable y materiales de cubierta, este tipo de aislamiento contribuye sustancialmente a pasar las pruebas de flama vertical de Tray Cable IEEE-383/UL-1581, vertical de Cable Tray CSA FT-4 y de cables de distribución vertical UL-1666.

UNIGARD™ RE DFDA-1638 Natural is a non-halogen, flame retardant, thermoplastic, low smoke, low corrosive, and low toxic compound. It has been designed for general purpose, medium and low voltage applications. If needed, standard color concentrates (EVA or PE based) can be used.
Used as jacket, it is designed to pass the IEC-332-3, the IEEE-383/UL-1685 vertical tray cable burn tests. Cable construction, of course, plays an important role in flame performance. DFDA-1638 Natural can be used as jacket
for 90°C rated cables.
DFDA-1638 Natural is also designed to maximize processing and flame performance. This compound can sustain extrusion temperatures up to 362°F (200°C) and can be extruded in typical single-flight metering PE screws, barrier screws, Maddock screws, and screws with mixing pins.

UNIGARD™ RE DFDC-1638 Black es un compuesto termoplástico de gran capacidad retardante de flama, sin halógenos, con una baja emisión de humos, que es poco corrosivo y de baja toxicidad. Está diseñado para aplicaciones de cubiertas de cable de uso general. Cuando se utiliza como cubierta, pasa sin problemas los ensayos de llama vertical de Tray Cable IEEE-383/UL-1685 (ensayo de emisión limitada de humos). Como es lógico, la estructura del cable desempeña un papel importante en las propiedades ignífugas. Puede utilizarse como cubierta de cables sometidos a temperaturas de hasta 90 °C.
Este compuesto puede sustituir al PVC, el PVC con baja emisión de humos y los cauchos halogenados como cubierta con una excelente seguridad contra incendios (baja emisión de humos, baja corrosividad y poca toxicidad) y buen equilibrio de propiedades. Este compuesto cumple o sobrepasa multitud de especificaciones sobre revestimientos industriales: UL-1277 Tray Cable, UL Subject 444 para cables de comunicaciones de uso general, aplicaciones de transporte colectivo y varias aplicaciones internacionales.
Como cubierta retardante de flama sin halógenos, DFDC-1638 Black también está diseñado para sustituir a los productos de cubierta no halogenados convencionales. Este compuesto presenta una procesabilidad mucho mejor que los productos de cubierta no halogenados actuales. Soporta una temperatura de extrusión más alta (hasta 392 °F [200 °C]), y puede extruirse en los husillos de PE dosificadores de un solo filete habituales.
