Avient's Maxxam™ family of polypropylene- and polyethylene-based products covers a wide range of applications, markets and performance requirements. Standard grades are compounded with calcium carbonate, glass and talc to provide a desired balance of properties including stiffness, durability, impact resistance and heat resistance. Custom grades are available with features such as UV stabilizers, heat stabilizers, custom color, high impact, etc.

The Maxxam® REC Series of compounds are based upon Post Consumer Recycled, PCR and/or Post Industrial, PIR, PP resins and/or fillers, with select combinations of unfilled, mineral or glass fiber reinforcements offering a unique balance of physical property and part performance. These materials have been specifically formulated to offer ease of processing in most standard thermoplastic processing equipment.

Maxxam™ SY 89-21-1 is a polypropylene copolymer compound with a pre-dispersed blowing agent for up to 50% expansion. The compound offers consistent cell structure, dielectric properties, and strength on insulation walls as thin as 10 mils.

Maxxam™ SY 89-22-7 is a polypropylene copolymer compound with a pre-dispersed blowing agent for up to 60% expansion. The compound offers consistent cell structure, dielectric properties, and strength on insulation walls as thin as 10 mils.

Maxxam™ SY 89-23-7 is a polypropylene copolymer compound with a pre-dispersed blowing agent for up to 60% expansion. The compound offers consistent cell structure, dielectric properties, and strength on insulation walls as thin as 10 mils.
