Beon3D PP SLS 101 BLK is a black unfilled polypropylene (PP) suitable for use in powder based 3D printing (AM) such as SLS. Compared with standard PA12 and PA11, PP stands out in particular due to its excellent chemical resistance and lower density and costs. It is designed to be used with printers that use both CO2 or fibre lasers, roller or blade spreaders with or without a N2 atmosphere. It features a wide processing window, excellent build stability, layer thickness 100-150microns, soft cake, low moisture absorption and most importantly, unlimited powder reusability. When 3D printed into final parts it will exhibit well-balanced mechanical performance in XY and ZX directions, good surface quality, medium stiffness and good dimensional accuracy. Typical applications make use of its easy recycleability, excellent long term stability in hot or cold water or sunlight, or features like living hinges.
