Since polylactic acid (PLA) is one of the promising candidates, we have developed a PLA coating agent RESEM W-990 as an easy-to-use emulsion. By applying W-990 to a substrate such as paper or film and heat-treating it, a coating with PLA characteristics is easily finished on its surface.
