Amodel® AS-1935 HS is a 35% glass reinforced grade of polyphthalamide (PPA) resin developed specifically for improved performance in a 50/50 ethylene glycol and water environment. This material exceeds the performance required by the automotive industry for polymeric materials exposed to antifreeze at 226°F (108°C), even when tested at 275°F (135°C). Amodel® AS-4145 HS polyphthalamide (PPA) is a a 45% glass reinforced resin that is hot-water moldable. Key properties include high heat resistance, high strength and stiffness over a broad temperature range, low moisture absorption, excellent chemical resistance and excellent electrical properties. This resin is ideal for automotive electrical and electronic applications, including connectors, sockets, switches and sensors. It is also a good choice for under-hood enclosures that protect critical control systems such as anti-lock brakes, traction control, steering, electronic engine control, transmission and chassis control units. Amodel® HFFR-4133 is a 33% glass-reinforced, halogen-free, flame retardant polyphthalamide (PPA) resin which offers enhanced processing capabilities for electrical and electronic applications. This resin is rated V-0 by Underwriters Laboratories using the UL94 test and is hot-water moldable. It has high flow and a wide processing window and offers good surface appearance, especially for larger electrical components. This grade can withstand the demanding infrared reflow soldering process typically used in the electronics industry.
