Alumide is a metallic gray, aluminium-filled polyamide 12 powder. Parts made from Alumide are characterized by high stiffness, metallic appearance and good post-processing possibilities. The surfaces of alumide components can be very easily refined by grinding, polishing or coating. Machining is simplified by the chip-breaking effect of the aluminium filling.

PA 1100 is a PA 11 based powder for processing in laser sintering systems. The white, additively manufactured parts are characterized by high impact resistance and elongation at break. They do not splinter even under high mechanical loads. The white base colour of the parts makes it easy to dye in any desired colour ensuring high color fastness.
Additionally, PA 1100 is a bio-based material made from castor oil with a lower CO footprint compared to petroleum-based polymers and an important building block in a sustainable production process.

PA 1101 ClimateNeutral is a bio-based material made from castor oil and is an EOS Responsible Product. PA 1101 ClimateNeutral combines climate neutrality with the well-known technical properties of PA 1101.

PA 1101 is a bio-based material made from castor oil with a lower CO footprint compared to petroleum-based polymers. PA 1101 is therefore also available as a climate-neutral version, the EOS Responsible Product PA 1101 ClimateNeutral. PA 1101 ClimateNeutral combines climate neutrality with the well-known technical properties of PA 1101.

PA 1102 black is a PA 11 based powder for processing in laser sintering systems. The black, additively manufactured parts are characterized by high impact resistance and elongation at break. They do not splinter even under high mechanical loads. Due to the mass-dyed polyamide 11 powder, parts made from PA 1102 black have a uniform black color and are therefore particularly suitable for visible areas that are subject to abrasive wear. As all other PA 11 powders at EOS, PA 1102 black is based on renewable resources (castor oil).

Components made from this pigment free polyamide 12 powder are whitish, slightly translucent. PA 2210 FR is a composition on the basis of polyamide 12 and a halogen-free flame retardant material. With its good mechanical properties and its outstanding fire properties it is mainly used in the electrical and electronics industry. PA 2210 FR is certified by Underwriters Laboratories (UL). Safety and quality are continuously tested by a third-party to ensure ongoing compliance, with an UL Recognized Component Mark on the product label. A growing market are railway applications, as PA 2210 FR fulfills several requirement sets according to EN 45545-2, the European railway standard for fire protection. The material is also used in aerospace industry, flammability compliance according to FAR 25.853 is tested for every material batch.
