The general purpose polystyrene (GPPS), 100% recyclable, is a resin which feedstock is the styrene monomer (SM): clear, rigid, non-toxic, with easy processing and coloring.

GPPS is developed in grades, different types for a wide range of applications.

Characteristics:
- High molecular weight
- Balanced thermo-mechanical properties

Process:
- Injection moulding
- Plastic sheet extrusion
- Extrusion Thermoforming in-line

Applications:
- Disposable items
- Refrigeration (internal parts)
- Mixture with HIPS in sheet extrusion
