VESTAMID® DX9180 BK is a conductive, low extractable impact-modified resin based on polyamid 612 that is used as innermost laying in antistatic, low extractable multilayer tubes like EVONIK MLT 4840.1.

VESTAMID® DX9180 BK offers outstanding properties concerning a low content of extractables particularly in contact with alcohol containing fuels, high impact resistance and improved long-term stability.

Multilayer tubing manufactured with conductive VESTAMID® DX9180 BK as the innermost layer outperform the requirements of the American automotive producers to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) problems generated by fuel flow.

VESTAMID® DX9180 BK absorbs only littler water resulting in good dimensional stability and almost unchanged properties at varying ambient humidity.
