PEXIDAN® HF SX524

Low smoke, low toxicity, halogen free, flame retardant silane crosslinkable black compound for sheathing applications.

SX524 pre-grafted base is mixed with a crosslinking catalyst masterbatch CM424 or CM424/1, in the ratio 95:5. Crosslinking is obtained by exposure to moist or hot water immersion only.

PEXIDAN® HF SX524 has been specially developed for particularly optical fiber ADSS (all dielectric self-supporting) communication cables to be installed on overhead power distribution networks. The material is black in color and suitable for outdoor use with excellent tracking and UV resistance.
