AquaGraft® 7020
DESCRIPTION
AquaGraft® 7020 is a moisture crosslinkable, natural, XLPO composition designed to be used with CMB-6001 catalyst master batch at a ratio of 93:7. All components are supplied in pellet form and when homogeneously blended in the recommended ratios, will meet numerous low voltage insulating and cable jacketing requirements. When combined with CMB 6001 in the recommended ratio, AquaGraft® 7020 will cure with controlled exposure to moisture using a sauna or hot water after extrusion.
APPLICATIONS
AquaGraft® 7020 is designed for use in various applications including building wire, control cables, tray cables, photovoltaic, power and telecom cable jacketing applications, and other specifications requiring superior flame, thermal, and mechanical properties. This two-component system, when blended in the appropriate ratio, will yield a finished compound which will allow the cable to pass various industry recognized flame and cable tests.
SPECIFICATIONS
When extruded and cured consistent with standard safe and acceptable wire and cable industry practices, cable insulated with AquaGraft® 7020 is designed to comply with the requirements as specified in the following standards. It is important to note that overall cable construction plays an important role in flame, fluid, and electrical performance.
