MDE N66G13L
For molded parts, which may be exposed to high temperatures for prolonged periods of time, the use of N66G13HSL, the heat stabilized formulation is recommended. N66G13HSL contains a conventional stabilizer system, which provides excellent protection against thermal aging, but can slightly tint the natural color, normally to a greenish hue. For applications where preservations of natural color is important, especially for precision color matches, the use of N66G13HL, which incorporates an effective stabilizer system free from color effects, is recommended.
Typical of semi-crystalline polymers, glass fiber reinforced nylons exhibit outstanding resistance, even at elevated temperatures, to the effects of a wide range of chemicals, solvents, oils and grease and is therefore suitable for such demanding environments as automotive under-hood.
N66G13L and N66G13H(S)L are internally lubricated for improved mold release, and offer the high flow typical of Nylon 6.6, which combined with rapid crystallization and high temperature rigidity results in excellent processability and fast cycle times.
