Eastman Tritan™ DX4001 an amorphous copolyester with excellent appearance and clarity. Eastman Tritan DX4001 contains a mold release derived from vegetable-based sources. Its most outstanding features are excellent heat and chemical resistance, toughness, and hydrolytic stability. The chemical resistance of Eastman Tritan DX4001 make it an ideal polymer solution for beverageware and small appliance applications where sunscreen/essential oil, citrus, and alcohol resistance are needed in order to maintain clarity and appearance. In addition, the outstanding chemical resistance and hydrolytic stability of Eastman Tritan DX4001 copolyester delivers enhanced durability in the heat, humidity and aggressive chemical environment in both residential and commercial dishwashers.
