Innova HIPS R 940D

Generic Family: Polystyrene, High Impact • Supplied by: Videolar-Innova S/A
The high impact polystyrene (HIPS), 100% recyclable, is a resin which feedstock is the styrene monomer (SM), added with 5% to 15% of polybutadiene, with higher resistance and stretching capacity.

HIPS is developed in grades, different types for a number of applications.

Characteristics:
- High stress cracking resistance (ESCR)
- Good mechanical properties and imact resistance

Process:
- Extrusion and thermoforming
- Injection moulding

Applications:
- Refrigeration (refrigerator doors and inner liner)
- Fatty foods packaging (eg margarine)
