Extir® AM A 7000 AE
Extir® AM 7000 AE is a white expandable polystyrene with flame retardant properties. The beads are spherical in shape and large in size. Extir® AM 7000 AE is used for the production of low density blocks for thermal insulation. Extir® AM 7000 AE is HBCD-free and does not contain CFCs or HCFCs. The product is not suitable for food contact.
Applications
Extir® AM 7000 AE is mainly used in building applications such as:
- Lightweight blocks for thermal insulation sheets, especially cavity wall insulation
- Elstified blocks for acoustic insulation
- Road foundations and civil construction
