Europrene® N 4560
Europrene® N 4560 is characterised by the highest oil and aliphatic hydrocarbon swelling resistance among the Europrene N grades. Mechanical properties decay of articles based on this elastomer is very limited also after long contact time with fuels whereas permeability of vulcanised articles is very low. The vulcanization can be performed using sulphur based systems or with peroxides. The low temperature properties can be improved by adding polar plasticizers as synthetic esters of adipic, sebacic or phtalic acids. If the finished rubber article requires particular resistance to heat, light and ozone resistance, then suitable protective agents as amine or phenolic antioxidants have to be added in the compounding process.
Gaskets for oil bath, transformers, fuel hoses, oil sealing rings, gaskets for hydrocarbon ducts, flat gaskets for carburettors, etc.
