MHCompounds Wire & Cable PR 2003 Black UVTR Nordamerika
PR 2003 Black UVTR is a polyethylene based concentrate which when blended 5% with HDPE and moisture cure systems including Monosil ® , Sioplas ® , and Ethylene Vinyl Silane Copolymers, offers excellent sunlight and tracking resistance. Application PR 2003 Black UVTR blended 5% with the above referenced resins has historically been used as insulation for 5 to 15 KV Spacer Cable and Tree Wire. It has been used extensively as both primary and secondary wire insulation for overhead distribution. The technology is effective in preventing shorts and flashovers should tree branches come into contact with the wires. Most recently, PR 2003 Black UVTR blended 5% with the above referenced resins has found new application as an insulation for bare high voltage overhead transmission lines as a solution in wildfire prevention. High wind conditions or bomb cyclones have become more common as a result of climate change. When winds approach 60 mph, bare high voltage transmission lines can slap together scattering sparks on underbrush and igniting wild fires. This has been particularly problematic for utilities in the western USA. This technology provides an economical solution when compared to shutting off power or burying large transmission lines underground.

NP Purge™ Series Nordamerika
NP Purge™ is an olefin-based purging compound. NP Purge is suitable for purging a wide range of commodity and engineering resins. When used as recommended, color and material change-over times are significantly reduced, eliminating much of the scrap material generated during the purge process. NP Purge is non-abrasive and does not use an aggressive chemical reaction to efficiently purge both injection molding machines and extruders. After the recommended soak time, NP Purge's reaction is complete and it will clean the previous material from the processing equipment before quickly being displaced by the next resin/color. Characteristics: - Effective at temperatures between 350° F - 600° F - No mixing is required - Low affinity to metal surfaces, making it easy to displace - Thermally stable, can be left in the barrel for shutdown - Resin-based purge with no harmful chemicals Recommended Processing Instructions: - Confirm barrel set points between 350° F - 600° F - Fill barrel with NP Purge - Stop injection molding machine or extruder screw. Let NP Purge soak in the barrel at temperature for 5-8 minutes - Introduce next resin/color to be processed - Purge system until next resin/color has displaced previous resin/color and NP Purge.

Carbon Black MB Description PB 910A is a stabilized polyolefin based masterbatch highly contains Carbon black together with an antioxidant package offering optimum thermal protection and easy of dilution. It is designed for general usage specially in injection molded parts, mono & multilayer PO film, sheet & etc. Due to the special formulation & fine carbon black used in PB 910A, it offers excellent dispersion, high opacity & good resistance to UV exposure. Application PB 910A is designed for ease of dilution and homogeneous mixing and is therefore suitable for direct addition using automatic dosing units or by pre-blending. Depending on the application it can be used from 1 to 6%.
