ALTUGLAS® BS 150N is a Methyl-methacrylate homopolymer of very high molecular weight. It is available in the form of spherical particles (solid beads) of small size and narrow size distribution. ALTUGLAS® BS 150N is not soluble in water but has low solubility in organic solvents. ALTUGLAS® BS150N is recommended as Matting or Anti-scratch or Anti-slip agent for waterborne coatings. Its small size and composition allow for quick and easy dispersion in any coating system.

ALTUGLAS® BS 150N is also greatly effective as Matting or Light diffusing agent when compounded in other thermoplastic polymers. The narrow particle size distribution of ALTUGLAS® BS 150N ensures homogeneous and reproducible effects.

ALTUGLAS® BS 150N can also be used as component in acrylic composite (example Porous Moulds for ceramic).
